Limits of Desire è una piccola delusione anche se l'emancipazione dal glofi è un'ottimo punto di partenza per i due di brooklyn. La musica è troppo levigata e c'è una patina che appesantisce le soluzioni musicali, una virata verso il synthpop di chiara matrice anni 80 perdendo la freschezza, le all star e quell'attitudine party che ci aveva fatto innamorare. Di contro c'è tutta la maturità necessaria per scrivere un concept album sull'amore, senza sbavature stilistiche e molto godibile.
